Born in Lithuania, Kaunas, Eva Ben-Zvi completed her vocal training at the Tel-Aviv Rubin Academy an has also studied at the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik in Detmold, Germany. She holds a Master`s Degree in Piano Studies. Mrs. Ben-Zvi performs extensively as a soloist with various orchestras and chamber ensembles in Israel and Europe.
She was the first Israeli singer to perform at the Kremlin in a special concert on the occasion of Moscow's 850th anniversary. Ben-Zvi has recorded 6 CD's, including Grigory Fried's mono-opera "The Diary of Anne Frank", recorded with the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra (this CD was highly appraised by the "Opera International Magazine" in Paris 1992), as well as the "Jewish Music from Russia" also recorded with the same orchestra which was highly praised in Paris and in New York by the "CD Reviews" in July 2000.
In 1998 she recorded the first IMC(Israeli Music Center) CD "Stride Between Verses" – a collection of Israeli Art Songs.
In addition to the standard Classical and Romantic music included in her repertoire, Ben-Zvi frequently performs contemporary music, some of which is specially composed for her.
